Aysa X. Fan is a Ph.D. candidate in the DELTA program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in Educational Data Mining (EDM), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Science Education. Aysa has worked on several projects in the past. At Maluuba, Aysa designed a voice-controlled fitness app, M-Fit, and led her Hackathon team to the second place. She  proposed the design of a wearable tracker to help monitor the status of depressed patients. Currently, Aysa is working on a collaborative learning project, CSTEPS, at UIUC.
